Lizzy & Roy’s Great Adventure

Lizzy & Roy’s Great Adventure

The Shalom Imaginative

Meeting at the young age of 15 and 16, Lizzy & Roy had a connection that Lizzy says she can’t even put into words. They dated a little over five years before Roy got down on one knee and asked Lizzy to spend forever by his side. From the very beginning they knew they wanted a wedding that would reflect their personalities and who they were as a couple. They shared a love for adventure and the great outdoors, so they created a woodsy vibe for both their ceremony and their reception by incorporating natural elements into the decor. The bride created handmade moss covered books for centerpieces, used tree slabs as drink dispenser pedestals and as a base for the cake, and hung pictures from broken tree branches which were arranged in vintage bottles (this DIY bride even has her own Etsy Shop called ElizabethandOreo). The entire day was special from officially becoming husband and wife, to running through the woods hand in hand, to dancing under an open sky surrounded by the people they love. The couple describes their wedding day as the most magical day of their life – their greatest adventure.
