We love how Whitney & Luke celebrated their vows in a traditional church ceremony at the Sacred Heart Church in downtown Portland and then traveled to The Barn at Flanagan Farm for an outdoor barn reception. The couples’ choice of locations was a fitting parallel to their relationship, as Luke is a New York City boy and Whitney heralds from outdoorsy Maine. The roughhewn walls of the barn paired with the glittering gold accents throughout their wedding echoed this combined love of city and country, too, and created an atmosphere in which everyone found something to love. Emilie Inc. said, “Their day was filled with delicious food, heartfelt toasts and lively dancing. It was a lovely way to end the season.”
