This plantation wedding in Mt. Pleasant, SC celebrates the best of historic elegance.
Sarah and Jason chose Boone Hall Plantation & Gardens for its refined character and homespun charm. The couple met on the grounds for a sweet First Look session before Sarah’s father escorted her down the aisle to the ceremony at the property’s main gate. After the “I do’s” guests convened on the lawn for cocktails and games. Inside the barn, sophisticated touches like ivory linens, gold votives, and a plush lounge added an air of glitz to the traditionally rustic barn. The party continued onto the open air patio, where breathtaking views of the surrounding water stole the show. Thank you to Donna Von Bruening for sharing this wonderful photos!

Eleanor and Giovanni welcomed guests to 701 Whaley for a modern rustic wedding complete with quirky touches.
A teal door festooned with sunflowers served as an altar backdrop for the ceremony. After the “I do’s” the party continued to the reception, where more sunflowers and playful pops of blue brought a cheerful air to the venue’s industrial charm. The couple took care to select a menu that celebrated the bride’s South Carolina heritage and the groom’s Pittsburgh roots. Guests noshed on barbecue and fried okra, followed by a cookie bar featuring treats made in Pittsburgh. Eleanor and Giovanni wowed guests with a “first fight” instead of a first dance, a nod to their first meeting as fencing students in college.

Diana and Jamie chose Cross Creek Ranch in Dover, FL, for its laid back charm and breathtaking scenery.
The couple welcomed guests to the ranch for a wedding weekend unlike any other. Diana and Jamie embraced the venue’s country character, infusing an air of rustic elegance into every detail of the day. They said, “I do!’ before friends and family in an open air ceremony, then welcomed party-goers to celebrate inside the barn. We love the design’s neutral color palette, combining soft shades of grey and blush to complement the barn’s timber interior.
